Eskay Engichem Pvt. Ltd. was established in October 2005 as the corporate entity of Eskay Industries, originally founded by the late Mr S. L. Munot.

The Chemical Division is led by Mr Deepak Munot, a master's graduate in Pharmacy from the Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai (formerly UDCT), with over a decade of experience in senior management roles in a multinational pharmaceutical company, along with Dr Shreekumar N. Sharma (PhD, UDCT).

The company initially manufactured bulk drugs such as Metformin Hydrochloride and Buformin Hydrochloride under a license from the FDA, Maharashtra. Since 2010, the strategic focus has shifted to drug intermediates and fine/speciality chemicals, including Crown Ethers, 2-Propoxybenzoic Acid, and other high-value chemical intermediates.
